stop. its ok. you don’t need to do these things. just focus on functionality(like the video player). we don’t need these little updates when somethings(like the video player) need your focus. thank you for your time but really, tumblr looks great. try to fix more important things(like the video player) so that we can all properly enjoy the features of tumblr(like the video player)
For those curious, this was taken at the Oceti Sakowin camp during the No DAPL protests in Cannon Ball, North Dakota. The photograph is titled “Defend the Sacred” by Ryan Vizzions. I did not find the name of the subject on horseback.
Her name was
Marissa Blacklance. #Dakota38 rider, & front line water protector at Standing Rock. She was killed by a drunk driver in January of 2018. Her mother is using this tragedy to make changes benefitting our community with the Yellow Scarf tribute.

If you tell her she’s beautiful, she’ll make you a Nails Hand Lady. If you say she’s ugly, she’ll kill you, with her nails in her hands. If you say you think all women are beautiful, she’ll thank you for respecting women, before killing you, with her nails in her hands.
Ghost legends in America: The old bar in Icetown, Michigan gets cold sometimes, even when it’s only -13F outside. This is theorized to be the previous owner, or perhaps the tragic victims of the incident in the early 1900s where the bar exploded and killed like fifty people, whose fates were not reported in any newspaper. Sometimes they lament their fate by tossing over ashtrays
